How to get more information about all the guests in a booking, not just the one with the account.

I've been a host for at least 2 years and I've never seen the option to ask for the verification or id info of the extra-guests of every booking. But last time I was a guest I was required to tell who was with me and add the airbnb profile. I want to do the same but I can't find where or how.

Hi. I've not come across being asked the details of all guests before. We weren't required to do this in France this summer.

Perhaps it was where you were travelling, a local law that requires all hosts to keep ID for all guests?

Or, maybe not something official but the hosts likes those details before they take a booking?

You can always make it a house rule that booking with you requires all guests to provide ID.
