I overcharged a "future" guest with a cleaning fee. I didn't notice the error, until I looked at the invoice details after I accepted the reservation. I charged them $195 instead of our normal $75 fee. I just fixed that for othe future bookings. That higher fee was for special wristbands our condo association charges me during Spring Break. Other times of year, there is no charge. So, I want to give $120 to the guest. They have not stayed yet. I don't know if I can do that with the Airbnb system. It seems like it's set up to give full refunds or refunds after someone stays, not before. If that cannot be done, I'll give them a check after their stay which will be about two months from now. I already notified the guest that I will do one or the other.
