I accepted a request but the message didn't get to the customer

I accepted a request from some guests yesterday & received a messge from AirBnb that there was a problem processing the payment. Today I received a message from the guests to say that they had found somewhere else to stay as they hadn't heard back about their booking. What went wrong?

@Caroline558, that is hard to say without more information.

Perhaps the AirBnB's problem with the payment stopped your message from getting to the guests?

You might want to contact AirBnB support to double-check that everything is set up properly, and to ask if AirBnB has any explanation about why your message never got to the guest.

 

It is also possible that the guest is fibbing about not receiving your message...
