I can't find/see my listing. What should I do?

Hi everyone. My first conversation here on the AirBnb Community!

I just recently discovered that I cannot find my own listing when I looked it up. And when I looked at Stats, I only had 1 view for the past 1 month, which is quite sad 😞 . My place will be availble from 2/7/16 and so far I havent got any enquiry yet. Do you know what may cause my listing to be invisible?

I have asked some of my other friends who also use airbnb and they cannot seem to find my listing also. I hosted before and got good ratings for it so Im not too sure what I did wrong here 😞 . I tried to lower the price but that didnt work. What should I do 😞 ?

My listing:

Private room- 10 min from CBD

Location: West Melbourne 3003, Australia

Thank you everyone!

Hi!

I have the same problem! If I log in, I can see my place, if I am pretending to look for a place (and I don't log) it doesn't appear on the listing... No idea what to do about it!!

My place : entire appartment in Marseilles (France), 1 bedroom and garden.

I have the same problem.

Here's my listing: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/257625

Airbnb shows best rated/best promoted places first, once you zoom into the map into the area where your place it you should manage to find your place? Another option is also to put in search criterias to narrow the result down and get to your place quicker.

Depending on how many other airbnb places there are around you it can take some time until your place comes up first when you search for it.

Hope that helps?

Hi @Yumie0, I can see your listing but it is very far down the list. This will be because of your track record. You show as having had one cancellation, a 40% response rate, and several days response time for enquiries which will make your listing very low on the list. The more proactive listings will come up higher. There is nothing wrong with your listing. I know it is already cheap, but you will need to do something so you get more enquiries, and by getting more enquiries answered as soon as you possibly can. Then never cancel anyone, get some reviews under your belt and you should be up and running. Also go into your calendar frequently, show that you care about your listing by keeping it up to date and accurate.

All the best

@Sandra126 Hi,

very usefull reply. Mybe you can help me with my listing?

The problem is that I can search/find my listing, but if I set the dates in the search criteria then my listing dissapears even though the dates are available.

Hi @Aleksandar2, I don't understand at all why your listing shows one way, but not the other? Sorry. Maybe someone else knows about this?

@Sandra126 thx.

I got AirBnB suppot on Twitter.

They say:

"You're right, we just reproduced this issue and it depends on the dates you've selected. However, since they're not blocked, we'll have a colleague to investigate further."

Seems like a bug.

@Aleksandar2

Amazing that you caught that snag as it's so specific...good work!
