I found out my guests had a huge party

Hi, What can I do about this?

I found out (just now from my neighbour) that my guests broke a bunch of house rules and had a huge party on Saturday!

They told me they were just a few guys coming to play video games. Turns out there were 30-40 people in the backyard till 4am.

The house was clean, thank god...

ADVICE???

One night booking? Not much notice given? Local 'lads'? Saturday night? Coming to play video games?

What could possibly go wrong?

Time to play 'red flag' bingo Andrea.

You have to be your own risk assessor before handing over your door keys.

This scenario probably had party time written all over it when you look back with hindsight.

Down the line you can be much more cautious over any booking requests with a whiff of unease about it and don't be hesitant to decline - install some cctv outside to monitor from afar - review your minimum booking duration for weekends and holidays.

Well at least it was good that the house was left clean.

Well, please leave them an honest review for us fellow hosts who would not like to book them in the future. You can have them flagged as well if you call customer service, not that that does anything. God willing they will never be able to book with another host if you give them a 1 star rating. Don’t up the stars just because it was left clean.

Glad there was no damage and all was clean! I second the security camera in front/back idea. Do you live close where you can drop by?

Give your neighbors your phone number and ask them to call you at the first hint of disturbance, so you can **bleep** it in the bud.

Apparently Airbnb's bot censor thinks N I P is a naughty word.
