I've been charged VAT wrongly

I made a booking for a room here in the UK. I am British and live in the UK. However, the invoice shows a charge for VAT stating that I live in Portugal.  This is not correct. My address details are in the UK. I don't know how to get this erroneous charge removed and cannot find any way to contact airbnb customer service at all!!  Help please someone!?  🙂

Hi! I'm in the same predicament.  I am in the US and the property is also in the US, but for some reason I'm being charged a VAT from Airbnb UK, Ireland.  I don't see how to remove this or who to contact.  Did you ever resolve this?

I have exactly the same issue, it just started happening recently and I have tried countless times to contact airbnb but only get answers that make no sense.  I did have one response that said my inquiry was being forwarded higher up the chain to a specialist but I never received any further response.
