I would like to talk to a customer service person directly at airbnb but can't find out how to.
I recently inquired about a 6 night stay in Germany. I wanted some information about the place before I proceeded to book or even decide if I wanted to book. I did not instant book or even request to book but just wanted further info on the property. The property owner went ahead and booked me and when I canceled the booking (wasn't ready to commit) I was charged a $89.00 service fee. I would like to be reimbursed for it from airbnb since I did not request a booking. I have found no where on the site to directly contact airbnb either by phone or email to inquired about a refund. Can anyone help me please? Thank you. Petra
Hi Petra - you must have submitted a booking request - which the host accepted. If the host cancels then they get a financial penalty and their calendar is blocked.
Easiest way to contact AirBnB is via Twitter, search for AirBnBhelp
You will also have contact details for AirBnB on your booking confirmation
