ID Verification / Not working

Hi all, i just completed the verification process on my profile, successfully i think as it said i was now verified.

 

However, when i look at my profile it still offers me the verify my id option. Should this still be there if i am actually verified? Can someone tell me if i am verified in the system or not?

If you go back to your listing it will show you as verified. No need to do it again.

Everytime I try and book it. It wants me to verify email address again

@Noah12  Did click the link Airbnb sends to your email to finish the email verification process?

Same thing has happened to me. I have been trying for two days to get verified for my booking at the beach. The place I am currently staying in did not require verification when I booked and paid, but now that ì wish to extend airbnb requires verification. Even the host knows nothing about this and is frustrated as he will lose out. The next place which I am trying to book will be losing out on a weeks booking as Ì am going to be forced to look elsewhere. I fear ì have lost my booking although my payment was reserved; I sent messages to the hosts, no response. I have tried all manners to contact airbnb, nada no response. it is impossible to contact airbnb, which scares me as ˜I am about to complete my own hosting listig. but now with this experience there is no way I want anything to do with airbnb. I am extremely pissed that this process has cost me my booking at the beach. ì believe airbnb owe both me for the loss as well as the host. I am soooooo unhappy!!!!!
