INSURANCE

Hi, I am after some advice on what other hosts have decided to do on insurance. I understand airbnb offer up to 600,000 GBP for bodily injury and property damage, are other hosts getting additional insurance?

I was thinking of just doing contents insurance as an additional, however the choice of insurance companies seems to be limited, not many companies offer insurance for a property rented out on airbnb.  I have found Adrain Flux and Towergate Insurance, are there any other companies that people know about?

Thanks in advance

Hazel

@Hazel6 have a look at my post on the thread at https://community.airbnb.com/t5/New-Hosts/Insurance-in-UK/m-p/119206#M12438 which gives information on Admiral who provide insurance specifically for Airbnb hosts in the UK.

Thanks Victoria for your quick response, it was a good thread to read.

I have read about Admiral and the 90 day limitation could be an issue for me as I think it will probably be more than that.

Thanks again

Legally you can't do more than 90 days... so you're not going to find a single insurer who will cover you for longer ...
