Incorporating and other beginner questions

I have just started hosting and wondered if someone can help answer the following:

1) I started Airbnb with my personal home a few weeks ago. So far so good. I am wondering if it common and or wise to incorporate, say as an LLC? 

2) Does incorporating protect your personal asset?

3) What are the steps needed to put my personal home under an LLC?

4) Are there any court cases in which someone on Airbnb has been sued for damages or loss of life?

5) Are their examples of anyone being covered by Airbnb's $1 million policy for hosts? What was it for? How did the payout go, hard to get, or was Airbnb and or their attorneys helpful?
