Inserting a document in a message to guest prior to arrival

Having found more and more guests do not read essential info on my listings, I would like to insert a document within a welcome email the week before arrival.  Please can you confirm how this may be done?

Now. Yes, that would be the most straightforward method but unfortunately I have issues with my Mac and the default email as I deleted that account a year ago, I need to get Apple support to change this to my gmail and it will work.  I know I can also use Dropbox but that won't seem to work either.
