Is it okay to enter your home when unruly renters are there?

Hi! Looking for advice or suggestsions... I recently rented my home to a group of 8 20 somethings who were attending a concert nearby. I was staying at another home nearby and went to pick up a package that was delivered late on my doorstep. I peeked in the window and was horrified by the mess and potential damage I saw. I wanted to go into my house to take pictures and assess the damage but wasn't sure if this was okay to do. I messaged the guest to let them know I was not happy with the state of my home and that we needed to talk upon his return and may ask that they leave. He apologized and said they would clean immediately and I decided to let them stay the weekend. When they checked out, sure enough I found lots of damage to walls and carpet, plus it was a complete mess. To prevent this in the future, I was wondering what I can say to future guests about having the right to enter my home if I am suspicious of them breaking house rules and want to inspect damage and my right to ask them to leave immediately. I plan to have every guest sign a check-in sheet that shows they acknowledge and agree to all the rules. And I want to state that I have the right to enter at any time and ask them to leave at any time if they are not following these rules. Is this allowed? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
Kaylie

Put in your house rules:

- minimum age 25

- no guests, no parties or gatherings

- PROPERTY MANAGER OR OWNER may enter the property at any time to perform maintenance tasks or to verify the usage being made of the property
