Is there a bug in pre-approving through iPhones?

Hi, I just pre-approved a request on my iphone, after which I saw the usual message that the guest can now confirm his/her booking blabla etc. However: the guest doesn't get any message. And when I log out of AirBNB and then log back in, the option to pre-approve the guest is there again, as if I hadn't already done that. When I use my laptop and THEN pre-approve, it seems to actually work.

So what is wrong with pre-approving on my iPhone? I tried the app and the site (both on my phone), and that doesn't work...

We had a similar situation with our Smart phone and found out the Airbnb App had to be set to "Hosting" and not "Travel". Sometimes it would keep switching to "Travel" mode and we would not realize it.

@Kirsten7 The mobile apps always have problems. Use the full web version. Use Chrome if possible.
