Is there a penalty cost to a guest who wants to reschedule?

I have a returning guest who wants to reschedule for the following month. They're well within the cancellation period without penalty, but I want to make sure they will not be charged anything for rescheduling (I just booked an Air B&B myself, immediately cancelled it, and was charged $20). How do I make sure they can reschedule without any financial penalty?

Changing a reservation, @Patricia744, happens without any charges. It's a way to escape cancellation fees for guests, too, without getting Airbnb involved.

Thanks Marzena, I just went into the contact AirB&B section and they walked me through how to do it--good thing, since this one guest reschedules on a fairly regular basis!

Ask your guest to use the change or cancel tool to change the reservation rather than cancel and rebook. This way no fees will incur.
