Is this listing a Scam/Bait-and-Switch?

Hello - I was wondering if someone could give me some feedback on a "new" property listed on Airbnb. Here is the listing:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/29363947

I already made the reservation, but have time to cancel. The host only has 1 method of verification (a phone number), and the house was just sold. Like literally in the last few days, this home was sold.

The photos in the MLS listings are the same as what's in the Airbnb listing. I did look up the users name on Facebook, and her name and credentials look legit, but something about it doesn't feel right. Anyways, this is for a large family gathering for Thanksgiving, and the last thing I want is for things to fall apart. Any help/feedback is appreciated. She said she has other properties I can check out on Airbnb, but they are setup under a separate account because San Francisco (where her other properties are) have different rules and regulations.

Hello @Elliott24 ,

The house was sold on 23 oktober. So it is possible new owner want to rent it via Airbnb and setup a listing. The account of the host is also rather new. There is a 20% discount for first 3 bookings before 24 januari, so you probably have this too.

You could contact Airbnb with your concerns and ask if they can request more verification. (Which is normally done by them automatically). I myself would like to see at least an ID verification of the host before making any booking.

Thank you, Emiel. I will do just that. The number on the listing is associated with a business number I found, and no one is picking up. I will be really upset if this turns out to be a scam.

@Jeff158 I am unsure what's happening. I reached out to the host to see why the listing is no longer available. Hopefully this was all a misunderstanding, but I spoke with AirBnB, and they said I'm still bound to the original cancelation policy. This means I only have a few hours to decide if I want to keep the reservation, which I'm not exactly thrilled about.
