Is this listing a scam?

Hey there,

I am about to book this listing for a month: **

It is a new host, has, therefore, no reviews and it looks very nice for the price in that area. So just wondering if it is maybe fake and what is best to do from here?

It's looking low for the price because the host is offering a 20% discount for the first people booking, whch is pretty standard for new listings.

After the first 3 people book (regardless of when they are booking for) the price will go up.

as long as you pay via airbnb and if in doubt keep your messages on airbnb, you are unlikly to have problems just becuase a listing is new.

the profile picture of this host ist disturbing though.

I wouldn't book the place just because of that.

I find the photo of the host a bit weird and it certainly sounds much too cheap for Berlin.

However as mentioned it might be a new host just starting out.

Why not message them and ask them something about the area or listing and see how they respond.
