Issues with communication language from Air BnB

Just used Airbnb for 1st time. Apparently when I set up my account a few years ago, I accidently selected Russian as my preferred language of communication. Don't know how I did this since the boxes for English and Russian are nowhere near each other.

Recently I booked my 1st Room, and now all of the automated emails and text messages I am receiving are coming to me in Russian. I have spoken to 2 different customer service reps. Neither have been able to fix it or tell me how to fix it. The only Language selection switch found, is one that informs your host what language or languages you can use to communicate with them.

Also…  I happened to look at Login / Logout history. It contained just my recent activity plus 2 strange logouts from locations outside US. The cities appeared to be of Russian origin created in early April of this year. When I asked Customer Service about it, and looked it up, the logouts were gone out of my history...  weird...

Customer has given up and has assigned me to an issue specialist of some sort and was told I would hear from them shortly. So far nothing. I continue to get in Russian all the automated Airbnb communication to my email and phone message box. Even got what looked like a customer service survey in Russian.

Has anybody had such an issue? or knows how to fix it?

Probably easier to delete your account and start again (with a different email address), @Daniel2895
