Items taken by guests

For the first time as a host I've had 2 bath towels taken by guests. Is there a way to report this and get money back from their deposit. AirBnB don't seem to make it easy to find. I'm a superhost 5 times running 🙂

@Jean-Marc92  Presuming you have a security deposit, it would be best for you to read the specific steps to be taken for making a claim as outlined in the Help Center article.   Since contacting the guest is part of the required process,  if you feel the guest would be defensive and write a negative review, you should take the reaction into account for the claim process.  If you think the guest would react in a way that accepts responsibility, then it might be worth it to submit a claim.    

 

Usually it is a he said/she said situation and the burden of proof is on the host.
