Just want to understand how this could happen

Hi there

I’m new to Air BnB. So my question:

I’ve set my daily prices for all the months. My rates for peak season in March is R3200 per day, however I just received a booking request for 9 days which the total payout for the 9 days would only be R4415, which doesnt make any sense. Smart pricing has beem turned off for peak seasons.

Could someone please advise?

Much appreciated

@Leanne106 Maybe double check if you have a weekly discount set for guests who book for longer stays?

@Leanne106 - you can't turn off Smart Pricing for a particular season.  You can have Smart Pricing on or off.   Smart Pricing should take into account seasonal changes, however, you will need to monitor it manually as the algorithym isn't really robust enough to change the prices as you've requested.

I was wondering if you've seen Alice & Jeff's reply to your question?
