Kinda wierd way in which availability is displayed on the calendar for guests

so I noticed this moring that the availabilty calendar for my listing as a guest sees it, displays one of my open days as being blocked off. I think I know the reason why this is, but i can see how it would be confusing to a prospective  guest 

here are the bullet points:

.this seems to only be an issue with the mobile app

.my booking settings require a minimum 2 night stay

. I dont have any days blocked before or after a stay, and frequently do same day turns

.there is currently a 2 day opening on the 26th and 27th which is clearly indicated when i look at my calender as a host

.but if I switch to traveling and look up my listing, at first glance, only the 26th looks to be available. it is only once you tap on the 26th that the option to stay through the morning of the 28th appears

. so I can sort of see why its doing this because its indicating you cant only stay 1 night but idk. 

is it just me or is this going to turn away otherwise interested guests

@David3610  I agree- it's ridiculous and counterintuitive and I imagine it would certainly cut down on bookings. I don't understand why Airbnb would do this, as they are so intent on getting as many bookings as possible.

It does seem silly, but I don't think it makes a huge difference- the bulk share of guests add their travel dates when starting their search, so if you have the open availabilty and you have appeared in search then the guest will be none the wiser to the issue.

I agree. But there are a select few guests, like myself, who wouldn't mind jumping from one Airbnb to another when on a long trip. So looking at the calendars of several places to patch together a full stay, can be a fun way to experience different people and different parts of town all on the same trip.
