Can anyone help? I’ve had a bad leak in my flat from above that is going to take lots of work and investigating to fix. I need to cancel my up and coming bookings. Can I do this all in one go? Or shall I just message people individually?

No you should contact Airbnb and ask to cancel under extenuating circumstances @Jack417

Thanks Helen. I can’t find anywhere on the app where to contact them. I’ve panicked and cancelled my first two up and coming reservations just because I didn’t know what to do. Is there a number to call or shall I just do the same with all my bookings for the next few weeks. I’ve also snoozed my listing.

@Jack417  Call airbnb right now.  You will be charged and penalized for cancellations otherwise.  I only know the US numbers, but if you do a search on here you can probably find the right UK number.

@Jack417  If you look at the top of the forum you are posting on all the ways of contacting airbnb are there.

if you look at the Airbnb help centre and  search Contact Airbnb you will find your local contact number. It also tells you about what to do if you have to cancel as a host.

It really is worth familiarising yourself with the basics to help manage your airbnb business.

Thanks for everyone’s input. I’ve managed to speak to Airbnb and resolve the situation now.
