Leaving negative feedback

Hey guys,

I would really appreciate some advice.

My last guest was difficult to communicate with and made some strange comments and requests.

For example ..

After booking messages me directly to say she was over charges (I directed her to contact Airbnb).

After booking said the price was too high.

Was confused with arrival time.

After leaving let request I email her an invoice addressed to her husband.

I see all of these things as outside my role as a host. What I am wondering is, is this worthy of negative feed back ?

I considered writing this -

Elizabeth was a clean and tidy guest. Communication was a bit difficult and I had to consult Airbnb for advice on my replies to some requests.

Thoughts???

Hi Jessie
I think it is really important to leave negative feedback when there is a reason, otherwise how are we , as hosts, suppose to know who to welcome to our home home. She sou ds like she hasn't understood how airbnb works, i would be Very clear about your position as host and derect her to airbnb for further requests such as invoices. As for pricing, i would tell her that if it is too much for her she can always look for a different one. If i were you i would write her a msg pointing out what you think she should understand and what it is you didnt like, then leave her a more simpler review.

I don’t think these things in themselves deserve a negative review. She seems confused. Your response seems honest and would sufficiently flag issues to prospective hosts.

Cheers from paradise

I guess I'm just surprised because she is listed to host 3 Villas as a host. I was not expecting these type questions as she makes out that she is not new to Airbnb (has over 100 reviews).
