Leaving the "plus" program - who has done it?

 

When I click "leave the plus program", one of the things it tells me I'll be losing is the "Premium Airbnb Plus Support". That's hilarious because I have never gotten any support in the plus program that is anywhere near premium. I'm looking for an answer to this question: 
 
When I leave the plus program, will there by any negative repercussions? I have been told by someone in support that existing reservations don't get any notification that thier reservation is no longer "plus" but they also said that the guest could search the listing and see it's no longer plus and choose to cancel (fine) and also leave a negative review and hinder our superhost status (what?).
 
Has anyone left that can share their experience? My experience IN the program has been negative so I'm planning on leaving but want to know what to expect.

I would also like to know as I have been invited to join and they are even offering me money to improve my property slightly (which it really doesnt need).  I am concerned about the few photographs I've already seen and, as a photographer myself,  my pictures have so far been drawing in a steady flow of guests via Instagram.  I'm reading that guests havent even had a say in which pictures are used?

@Simone52  I would just contact all future guests and say everything will remain exactly the same. Your listing is exactly as seen in photos and the description, but you have decided to revert to being a Superhost and will no longer list under the ‘plus’ category. That way you preempt any issues and I’m sure no guest is going to care? Only issue could be if the nightly rate is altered and they realise they have paid more?
