Can I list a house im looking after on behalf of the owner and have all payments go directly to them under my airbnb account or would they need their own account?

List it under the account of the owner and act yourself as a co-host for the owner:

@Amy691, @Emiel1 is correct. Also the reviews stay with the host, not the location. In the event that you should decide you didn't want to host it anymore the owner would lose all the reviews and have  to start all over again with no reviews.
