Listing shared space alongside the whole space

We currently only list our home when we are out of town and there is the 'full space' avbl.

But we have an extra room and thought to list it when we are home. Just haven't done it yet.

Is there an option to list a 'single room / shared space' under our current listing or does a new listing for shared space need to be created a part from our full home listing?

Hi,
I find this option rather annoying with Air BnB. I have two rooms in my house and I have to create two separate listings for my house. I cut and paste because a lot of the information will be the same for both listings. I made the front photo people see different so I can keep the rooms straight when people look for a booking. I wish there was a way to make one listing with all the options in one house. Call their center and complain. If they get enough then maybe they will change--that's what I do. Hopes that helps.

Create 2 listings and manually synch your calendars is the only option at this time. You can block days as needed.

Hi Susan,

I am new to airbnb, and like you, am planning to rent our home (except for master suite and storage room which will remain locked) when we are travelling.  Do I you recommend I remove family pictures and portraits from the walls?  Also, do you tell guests that what's in your pantry, your wine etc is off limits?  Or do I lock that too?
