I search my local area as if I was a paying guest looking for accomodation my listing shows up but with the wrong pricing shown i.e. "From £32 etc etc " which is actually higher than my actual pricing. I think this may be stopping potential guests from looking any further at my listing and not making a booking. I can't seem to alter or edit this narrative when I am logged in and I think it can only be done by Airbnb admin. Has anyone got any advice on this?
If it's just a little money, it is normal. There was someone else mentioning a similar problem the other day, sorry, I can't find my reply to that. In my case, the difference is usually 2-3 PLN, which would be a fraction of pound.
Also, the price might be average for all the days available. Once the dates are chosen, the guest gets the exact prices for those particular days.
My problem with the listing is that I could not alter what is first seen by a potential guest. i.e. when a guest does a search for accomodation in my local area they see what prices are available from the various hosts and my listing has the wrong price shown on it. This may deter a guest from enquiring any further on my listing and opt for another cheaper listing instead of mine. I think I will need to speak to Airbnb admin to have this corrected as I cannot seem to alter it myself.
