Lock on Bedroom Door

I'm a fairly new host. My first guest was on 12/31.

I have the master bedroom of my home listed, and I have one simple question about the listing.

Under Home Safety is the option for "Lock on Bedroom Door."

The bedroom door has a simple door lock like a bathroom. It's not keyed, and can only be locked from the inside.

Does this qualify for Lock on Bedroom Door? That is, can I check that box on my listing?

Hello @Jamie69,

As a guest, if a listing said "lock on bedroom door" I'd expect it to be lockable from both the inside and outside.

That setting is common to all types of listings, including ones where there may be other guests in other rooms.

So I think that a guest would expect to be able to lock the door when they're in the room and also secure their belongings by locking it when they're out.
