Lock questions

Right now we don't have a lockbox because we live here and greet our guests personally. We give our garage code, leave our inside house door in the garage open and then give them a key to their room. After doing this awhile we realized anybody could give out our garage code. We do change the code when they leave though. How else do you get around it?

@Tom888 I would suggest to add a lock on the door from the garage to inside of your house. It can be a digital lock or storing the key in a lockbox next to the door.
