I need help with the long term cancellation policy. I booked a 30 day stay but I want to cancel and get a full refund (I am not within the 30 day cancellation period and I am not entitled to a refund anymore). I talked with the host, explaining the reasons why I needed to cancel and he agreed to give me a refund if I can manage to do it through Airbnb. Is there any way to do it here?? Please I really need to cancel and get the money back. Thank you.
But, like you yourself acknowledge, it is highly likely you are not entitled to get anything back due to cancellation policy and terms you agreed to when making the booking. Do you have travel insurance you could try making a claim to?
