Long Term Reservation

Hey guys, I am having trouble canceling a long-term reservation which my host agreed to due to a facility problem in his studio in Lyon.

As I was trying to modify the length of my stay in the room from 31 days to less than 28 days, in order to change my reservation into a non long-term reservation, I was asked by Airbnb's system to pay 546 euros on top of the rent I already paid for a period of time that is already included in my initial reservation (the screenshot is attached as follows). I think there must be some problems in this set-up. Has anyone had the same problem? Can anyone help me with that?

@Bob155 It is possible that you received a discount for the 31 night stay that no longer applies to the 26 night stay.  When a host sets a discount for long term stays it is based on stays of 29 nights or more.

Hey Clare thank you so much for your response.

That might be right at the first glance. But as I shortened my stay even further to 10 days, I am still required by the system to pay the same amount of "price difference". I am not sure what is going on with this.

@Bob155. Check with the host about their nightly price for the 10 night stay.  The host can refund you the difference.

Hey guys, we would like to rent our 2 bedroom appartment in Brooklyn for 6 months as we are going to live in California from November to May, it does not seem like this feature is available as I cannot set my dates after March 2019...anyone ever rented for a long period of time on Airbnb?
