Managing a change in circumstances for my guests

My current guests have paid for one month of accommodation, and have been called back to their work in another state unexpectedly., only having used about 1.5 weeks.   So I would like to make my space available for new bookings after they leave on this Sunday coming up, in hope of getting someone else to pay and I will then offer them a refund.  Am I obliged to give the guests a refund for the time they are not using my space due to early departure?  Thanks for yoru help, Genevieve

Does not sound like they have cancelled, when they do so your property becaomes available.

 

Your Cancellation policy determines any refund, but assuming they get nothing back they are not under any pressure to cancel.
