Hi,
I'm running two Airbnbs in my hometown, Munich, Germany.
Most of the year I do spend in Asia though, and as Airbnb is working well for me, a friend and I want to open a new Airbnb listing in the Philippines.
This raises operational questions, to run these listings over my account or to use a new one.
My account would be beneficial in terms of reviews and ratings, but the payout would be over a german bank account and rather complicated.
How did you solve this? How's the Airbnb policy on this?
Anyone experience with multiple listings in different countries?
Thank you,
Bests,
Sascha
What you can do, you can create a new account for your listings in the Philippines, and just add your main account as the co-host so that you can manage all the listing using just 1 account.

You can’t have more than one account @David5641 . If you try and do this Airbnb can ban you.
Get your friend to set up an account and add you as a co-host.
@Helen3 you can for as long as you will not self-refer. I know a lot who of host who did that and they've been hosting for years now.
@David5641 just because you know people who run multiple profiles contrary to Airbnb's T&Cs doesn't mean they should be doing it. Airbnb can and do ban people who they find are setting up multiple profiles.
@Helen3 For as long as the other account is not created using the host-referral, and if the listing is legitimate, it is perfectly fine.
@David5641 - respectfully you are not a host (unless of course you have another account under which you host 🙂 )and therefore less likely to be aware of how Airbnb works than those who have been running their Airbnb business for years.
In Airbnb's terms of service it says:
Airbnb reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Airbnb Account and your access to the Site, Application and Services if you create more than one (1) Airbnb Account, or if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, fraudulent, not current, incomplete, or otherwise in violation of these Terms of Service.
Do quote from the Airbnb T&Cs to show that you are allowed to set up multiple Airbnb profiles.
Just because you keep saying the same thing over and over again. Doesn't make it true 🙂
Airbnb does allow multiple accounts/profiles, all day long. Just not for small, individual hosts.
Ah that's interesting @Susan17 - do you mean if you are a large scale property manager?
If so, sadly I am hardly surprised as they let them do all sort of things they don't let us lesser mortals, such as charging deposits, easier host cancellation terms etc.
Yes, just for the pros and commercials. Along with all the other preferential policies and practices afforded to them, that are denied to regular hosts. Just one example..
Sonder Nashville
Sonder New York
Sonder New Orleans
Sonder London
Sonder Dublin
Not only do they have their multiple city-specific accounts, they also get to have double exposure/promotion, by being permitted to list on their generic accounts for each market too.
But let you or I try that, and our arses will be bounced straight out the door... gotta love the equality and fairness of the Airbnb platform...
