My current reservation

Hello, Half an hour ago i booked an apartment for today and money taken out from my account but I still don't get any reply from the host and confirmation reservation did not come to me. Can you please help me and on the booking section it said that I have chance to cancel booking until 3pm today.

Is your host in the same time zone with you? sometimes I get a booking in the middle of the night while i sleep and can't answer immediately. Check it here: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

 

you can cancel the reservation within 48 h after the booking is done so if you are concerned I suggest you to call your host by phone and if the doesn't answer then contact Airbnb for the confirmation  / investigation / cancellation

 

Some hosts with IB do not communicate with their guests until a few days before check in ( I find it rude but everyone has his own hosting style)

Thank you for your answer. 

Just a severel minutes ago, host contacted with me and said that he can not host me, because his house is unavailable at the moment because of the some reasons. He asked for cancellation from me, but i think it is his fault and he needs to do cancellation then I could get full refund. He said that he can not do cancellation because on the system he can not find my reservation, which is really wierd. I contacted with airbnb now waiting reply from them.

You instant booked the accommodation or you just sent him a "booking request"?

 

- If you just sent him a "booking request" then your host should decline your request or you should withdraw your request. After that, you will get back your payment immediately.

 

- If you instant booked then you should receive a booking confirmation mail and this reservation should be canceled.

  • Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is canceled before check-in.
  • The Airbnb service fee is refundable up to 3 times per year if the guest cancels within 48 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before check-in. It isn’t refundable if the guest cancels a reservation that overlaps with any part of an existing reservation.

 

If you are entitled to the full refund then I would advise you to cancel by yourself and don't lose your time. If you wouldn't get a full refund then your host or Airbnb should cancel your reservation on host's behalf and he will be penalized and fined.
