My guest was not communicating, grilled in an area that was not designated for the apartment, also I had taped a toggle switch in the bathroom, to make it less confusing, and it was tampered with, I did put both of the above in a private message to the guest(not about the communication),and I answered The question about referring the guest as no.  Do you think I was too hard on the guest?

Was there a reasonable possibility that the guest was confused about where it was okay to grill? Could the unauthorized grilling have started a fire? If the dumbest person you know could have made the mistake about the proper spot to grill than you should probably make your directions/manual more explicit as between jet lag, different customs and vacation mindset, smart people can be less than sharp while traveling. If the guest barely missed setting the neighborhood on fire then the airbnb community thanks you for your candid review! And remember, a bad guest review is a tiny consequence compared to a bad host review anyway, Sally
