I am very confused. I have listed my property and made sure it is "listed". I have double checked all my settings. yet, when I do a blind search from the web, as an anonymous user, my property does not show up. It won't even show up on the map. I've made my criteria very broad and made sure the dates are open, but when I "test run" a search, I have no results showing my property. I'm stumped. I've tried to reach out to Airbnb regarding this, with no luck. Can anyone help?

Hello @April59,
I did a search for accommodation for September the 17th to the 19th and your listing showed up.
I'm not sure what dates you used but one thing to keep in mind is that you have to search for a range that's at least equal to your minimum nights stay for the period.
Also make sure that the instant book filter is off as yours is not an instant book listing. Airbnb often sets it on by default. They usually set it on if you search with dates close to the current date or if there are a lot of listings in your area.
The post by below by Jeet has some suggestions on searching for your listing.
Why can't I see my listing in the Search Results?
Steve.
I’m having the same issue. If you search on my town - Melbourne Beach, FL - my listing doesn’t show. You have to go to the map to find it.
I have to send the specific link to friends who are inquiring.
We have tried searches with specific criteria, instant book, 3 bedrooms etc and still doesn’t show. I am getting views (330 in 1 week) and bookings; but I have no idea how people are finding my listing.
I’m worried because I was getting daily inquiries and now it’s silence.
@Mickey18 I encountered exactly the problem you describe: searching for homes in Melbourne Beach, FL will not include your listing in the "map-less" results. You have to turn on the Map to find it.
But you did not mention that in addition to turning on the map, you have to *move* the map to find your listing.
This is the core of the problem. When a guest asks to search for homes in Melbourne Beach, FL, the map is positioned over a certain area. Your listing is not in that area.
If you feel that your location should be included in searches for Melbourne Beach, FL, then you should contact Airbnb and ask if the initial map for Melbourne Beach, FL could be expanded to include your location. There is no way to know if they will do this for you, but the position of the initial map is what is causing your listing to not appear in searches until you move the map.
i contacted airbnb and they told me the solution was to search on malabar instead of melbourne beach. no offense to anyone who has a house in malabar - but it’s not beachside. my house is across the street from the ocean and with direct access to the beach. i have made the request for them to expand the gps coding to include me. it’s finds “funny” since the algorithm actually includes houses in palm bay and melbourne (mainland) but won’t include houses truly in the specific town. i guess they just draw a big circle instead of following the town lines.
I had something similar when I was just browsing my area to see where my listings were in search results - but no sign of mine at all.
Then I noticed there was an extra search criteria at the end of the options, when I clicked on it there was a box to only display Superhosts's listings which was ticked by default, don't remember ever seeing that before. As I am 'new' and have not yet reached an assessment period I am not a Superhost yet.
So basically unless potential guests know about this option that seems to have been added and ticked by default, any host who is not a superhost will not be showing in their search results. 😞
@Niel3 the "Superhost-only" option will not be "on" by default for everyone.
If you are searching using your own account, it might be on or off depending on what you had it set to the last time you searched.
A good thing to do when trying out searches is to open an "Incognito" or "anonymous" browser window, which retains none of your profile information. Then go to Airbnb to search and see what the search results are like for a completely new guest.
My listing is not showing on the map or a search. I have instant book; I searched available dates. There are no listings showing in my area on the map and there were others in close proximity. My listing is fairly new but it hasn't been booked.
i fixed my issue by calling airbnb. the issue was where they thought my town was based on the latitude / longitude. well, they did something and then it now shows. of course, i also just got my first review - so maybe that was it?!
Same problem. A search for properties in our commune in France, Coussac Bonneval, returns over 300 properties. Now, there only just over 300 properties in the whole village, yet our property isn’t in the list - or at least the first 100 listings I’ve checked. There are many properties however that are over 2 hours drive away!? All support can do is send me a link on how to become a Superhost. They’re missing the point. I may as well not be listed because we really don’t show up unless someone searches with all the filters set to duplicate our listing.
Hi,
why my listing in airBnb not found ? in airBNB site?
