Narrow sheets

I can no longer tuck in the sides of the sheets on the beds. Is this the way people prefer it now?   I was brought up with hospital corners and all bedding, except spread was all tucked in. I must be old fashion. I’ve been buying king size top sheets and blankets for my queen size bed. Today it just hit me that maybe guests really don’t like it tucked all in. What is the conscenses out there ?  Thank you for your feedback

@Linda941 if they are not tucked in it looks messy and just thrown together, like someone already slept there before. I haven't yet met a guest that doesn't appreciate clean bed with fresh and well assembled linens.

That’s my opinion also.  I appreciate your feedback

It is one of life's greatest mysteries... why don't queen sheets fit a queen bed?! Seriously, I question it almost daily! I'm like you @Linda941 , I buy single flat sheets and I always buy king flats for a queen mattress. Always. A good tuck is such an important part of the bed. For me at least.

Thank you Emilia, I just had to check. I feel that that it should be tucked in but these sheets now days just make me begin to doubt myself.  Thank you for taking time tto leave feedback.
