Necessary aneminites during long stays

Necessary aneminites during long stays

How many sets of towels and bedsheets do you leave out for guests? I've only been hosting for about two months and they have been short stays, I have a guest that will be staying for two weeks and was unsure of how the bedsheets and towels situation would be handled. Guests have full access to entire condominium, so I wont be near to provide if needed, or clean up during their stay. Thanks in advance:)

hello @Lizet3

Welcome to CC

It's reasonable to expect bed linen to be changed at least once around every 7 days.

Do your Guests have access to a washing machine?

If so there's no reason they can't wash them themselves, is there?

In regards to towels, it's always good to provide 2 per person so they have one to dry their hair.

It all depends I guess  how eco friendly your accommodation is & the type of Guest as to how many towels and how often they are changed or how many you provide.

It's a tricky one, @Lizet3 and it really rather depends on the price you've charged and whether the guests are assuming they're getting a 'serviced' apartment. I'd probably go for one spare set of bedding (for them to change themselves) and a good bundle of towels. If they've got a cheap deal, it's the washer and a DIY job!

@Lizet3

Bedding and towels changed every 7 days and you or the cleaner go into the apartment to change them.

Treat it as a mini checkup of your place, pop into the kitchen with fresh tea towels & bathroom to check soaps etc, it just lets you know if the guests are respecting your place, and if you find leather straps tied to the bed posts you can say "can't do that".
