New Zealand payment methods

Hi

I am a new host in NZ and are having huge problems sorting out a payment method with Airbnb - they are now a week overdue from paying out the money owed. 

So far I've been directed to Payoneer by air bnb for help who have no records of us/nor do I know who they are - their system wont' accept me for paypal. 

My understanding is that in NZ we can have payments made direct into our account - these are the details we added to the payout method and it is stuck in pending verification 

Has anyone else run into this issue in New Zealand - how did you resolve it?   I am just being send in circles and really need that money they owe us to cover up our setup costs

Hi Becky, I'm also in NZ and joined about 6 weeks ago. I have payments going directly to my bank account and have so far had 3 payments all paid out and received within 48 hours. Did you confirm the banks swift code and receive verification from airbnb?

What is and how do I get the bank swift key I am trying to set up payment just very new to this it looks like you can't contact the management of Airbnb

I just rang my bank and asked for the SWIFT code. 

We have two properties we use for Airbnb. The first one we have had for just over 12 months and as far as I can tell, the bank does not take out any charges. We obviously get charged  the Airbnb fee and that is all as far as I can tell.

Hi for swift code, that all European banks use, i just typed into google my banks name and swift code. Bingo first search. Some banks you have to ring others give it on the website.

I agree that the form was structured differently from what we are used to seeing on our internet banking in NZ.

Here is my guide to completing it - i have used the lowercase x to mark the numbers you should be looking at in your bank account for each field

Account Name - this should be ok as it is a free txt field

Account number - XX- XXXX-xxxxxxx-XX is the 7 numbers in the middle of your bank number

The SWIFT or BIC code is best found at this website (depending on your bank, mine was here) https://www.theswiftcodes.com/

Suffix - XX- XXXX-XXXXXXX-xx

Branch - XX- xxxx-XXXXXXX-XX

Bank - xx- XXXX-XXXXXXX-XX

We're in almost the exact same situation.

been waiting 6 weeks now.

Airbnb say pending.

Payoneer say they're approved it so it's up to Airbnb.

Phoned Airbnb; they said delete it and set it up again.

Payneer say they won't set it up again because they've already done it.

why can't they just talk to each other and sort it out.

Hi I'm brand new to hosting in NEW ZEALAND and Im already over it!  I can't get the site to accept how I want paid.  It just keeps going to the Oops page.

This is not a user friendly site at all and I have wasted alot of my time trying to get this payment thing set up.

Welcome to Hosting Monika and take a deep breath.

Sometimes you can only add details on a desktop and not via your tablet.

There are many ways to contact the AirBnB front line staff and maybe they can talk you through it. Even ring them in Wellington, Twitter they immediately reply or using the direct email system.

There are currently a few problems with Payoneer that need ironing out if you have a 3 digit suffix with your NZ bank account. I’m informed a 3 digit suffix will no longer be accepted.

Where does the money come to.me from..usa,europe ,nz ????

@Christopher933  You need to go onto your Dashboard to set up how and where payments can go to, the main thing is you get paid!
Look under Help on the main ABB website as these helpful information in there.

Ask your bank what the Swift code/ IBAN number is.

Or if you have an account overseas and you travel to that country on Holiday or work I guess you could use that one.
