New booking. No details.

Hello, I have a new booking request from someone who has created a profile this year with no picture, no reviews and no details when asking to booking our apartment.

What am I able to ask them before I approve them to stay?

@Michael1383, well you should certainly be able to ask for them to finish the profile! (Photo and some IDs at least.)

Even if they do complete the information, you can still decline them if you are uncomfortable with such a new account. It is a reasonable concern. And I think it still complies with AirBnB's nondiscrimination policy.

(New AirBnB users are not a protected class of citizen.)

Thanks so much!!!!

I see you have a lovely first review, @Michael1383.  Someone took a chance on you so perhaps you can find a way to take a chance on a new guest.  Just ask that they complete the verification and add a good profile picture.  Ask for information about themselves and what interests them about your place. Trust your instincts about how you feel when they respond.
