New to air bnb. question about payments

New to air bnb. question about payments

We are new to AIRBNB and have our condo listed for monthly rentals. We have an interested party who want to rent for the month of July.

We agreed to a price and told the renter that we would accept the first week's payment now, and the remainder on July 1st. They tried to input this into AIRBNB yesterday and were rejected because they had to pay for the entire month now, per AIRBNB's SOP. Is this their only option, or can we accept the first week's payment now, and the remainder on July 1st ?

Thank you

Hello @Frank414,

Payment arrangement is done between guest and Airbnb, it is not under your control. For reservations more then 28 days the "long term stay" terms (and policy) automatically applies. If you are a new host, also some specific rules apply.
