No payout because guest credit card denied

I have a guest from China; airBnB fully approved the booking, but apparently they don't accept there credit card.. The guests payed already half the amount, but the 2nd half does not get through, and now I did not get any money. Is there a way to solve this?

Is the guest a long-term rental over 28 days?  That is the only way that the payment would be broken up.  The guest needs to resolve this immediately on their end.  You as the host can do nothing.  You do, however, have the right to have them leave the property immediately as they are now staying without payment.  Contact Airbnb immediately.  They will help you remove the guest.

Thanks for the reply; it's a short term rental, but it was extended by one day. I'm not so worried about the payment for the one day, but now I don't get anything, even though the other 5 days were paid to airBnB.. Contacting airBnB is a good idea, but does not look simple on the website.

@Wilke0

Hi Wilke, this is not an issue that can be sorted out for you on this forum. You will need to contact Airbnb on one of these number,+1-855-424-7262 / 1-855-4-AIRBNB (toll-free) or if phone contact is to difficult for you try one of the other options listed here by another very valued contributor....https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Community-Help/Contact-Airbnb-A-Community-Help-Guide/m-p/16165#M...

It is up to Airbnb to deal with the money side of the transaction and that is one of the good things about dealing with ABB, the money is not our issue. You say that Airbnb have been paid so, perhaps firstly go to your account settings and click 'Transaction History' to make sure that money for this reservation has not been forwarded to you. If it has not, the reservation number will say 'Payment Pending' and if that is the case get onto ABB and quote the reservation number and they will get this sorted out for you.

Good luck Wilke....cheers.....Rob

@Wilke0  If I understand you correctly, you have been paid in full for the 5 day booking but have not be paid for the extra day added.  right?  And the reason for the non-payment is that the guest's original credit card is no longer valid.  As @Alice-and-Jeff0 have advised, the guest must contact Air BNB to pay with a valid card.  If they do not do that, then you are out the money.  Have they already left?  If they do not find away to accept and pay for the additional day, the review would have to be a thumbs down, don't you think.
