Overall review 4.8? Not a superhost yet

I basically fulfilled all the requirements to become a superhost. Despite the score of 4.8 as overall review, progress says it's 4.7.

And there's no problem with the other criteria.  There you go:_20190124_162915.JPG

Isn't that a little bit awkward? How can someone have two different ratings? And now that the one already meets the requirements, how come I'm not a superhost yet!?

It may have been 4.7 at the cutoff (Dec 31 in this case), and is now 4.8. I know that happens, @Berdiya0. It isn't well explained. The Progress tab does its best to be confusing.

@Berdiya0 We as hosts are rated every 3 month  (airbnb calculates our ratings)  so even if you at the moment have 4,8 you won't be able to become a superhost before after next calculation period is over April 1. 2019. You will have to wait until April 1 + about a week - 10 days in order for airbnb to calculate.

@Berdiya, your two reviews in January may have tipped you over to 4.8. You'll have to wait for this quarter to end on March 31st. Keep it up and you'll be an official Superhost in April!

Hello again

It’s April now and I was promised to become a Superhost this month. I’ve kept it at 4.8 in the meantime and never did anything wrong. However, now I’m being told to keep it up to earn Superhost in June. Is it such a never ending battle? What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Berdiya0

As I explained earlier to you the cut of day is April 1 but airbnb needs a week or 2 to calculate. So you just have to wait.

@Berdiya0  The reason they don't give out the assessments on April 1st, but a couple weeks later is that the reviews from guests who booked to stay in March are counted in this 3 month assessment period. So say you had a guest who checked out on March 31st- the guest has 14 days to leave a review, so they have to wait to factor that in.
