Beware all users ,we are super host who worked hard to attain the experience for our guest and have used this platform for over 8 years . We recently had a booking of 6 guest and 13 showed up , so we reached out on the platform which is strongly recommended ,and they acknowledged it was just 1 night on a 4 night booking . We responded that we were willing to work with them and could allow only 2 additional guest as our city code only allows 8 occupants in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house . The additional nights and guest remained 13 to 14 guest which our ring doorbell recorded . We reached out to no avail ,we also expressed our concern with Airbnb ,in which we were told to not worry they would reach out to resolve the issue . The communication with us as hosts was minimal and uneventful .” We let them know we were contacting the local police for assistance “ and Airbnb assured us that they must handle this internally and to please be patient . Following check out we sent a request for the additional guest and we’re ignored by the guest . Forward …..the 72 hour wait period and the video of each evening of guest returning from The Coachella festival at …Airbnb request for review …. To our shock was told they ruled in favor of the guest and the case was closed . They completed there review with absolutely no follow up and a decision in less than 8 -12 hours “ over night “ . When we requested how they came up with the decision we only received a follow up answer “ which expressed there apologies to our guest ..even stating how sorry they were for our giving them a terrible experience. “ which we know was sent by mistake to us instead of our lying guest “ . MORAL OF THE STORY…DON’T EXPECT THERE HELP IN YOUR BEHALF “ AIRBNB will not stand behind your loyalty to there platform .
