I want to know about payment, when guest book on airbnb, airbnb will received payment from the guest or when guest check-in pay to property?

Hello @Crystal-Creek0,

When a guest makes a reservation with you Airbnb charges them immediately.

Airbnb then pays you a few days after the guest checks in.

See the articles below. I found the first one by typing "charge" in the search box having clicked on "Help".

The second one showed up when I typed "payed".

Airbnb charges hosts a percentage service fee. The percentage depends on many things including which cancellation policy the host has.

Click on "Help" and type "fees" in the search box to see articles on fees and charges.

You can't avoid these service fees.

I have my first guest today and i'm trying to figure out if I put my payment method in currently. It still says  pending. I also wanted to add pay pal but it also says pending. I'm so confused. I dont want to wait for it to go to my checking. I dont mind paying the fee .Please help.

I can't set up payment method because my bank (HSBC Indonesia) doesn't have branch code, they have swift code. However, there is no field or column to fill in the swift code in setting up payment method.
