Payment from Airbnb

I just had my first guest checkout from a two night stay. I was under the impression that payment was deposited into your account as soon as the booking started. I still have not received any payment into my account. I checked to see if the $.01 trial deposit was made and it was. Would there be any reason why payment is not in my account even after the booking is completed?

Payment is usually 24 hours after the guest checks in.  For a 2 night stay you should have received payment.  I would suggest that you contact airbnb to see what the problem is.

@Richard146 depending on weekends, holidays and your payout method it can often take about 5 days from the time Airbnb starts it (24 hours after arrival as @Sharon114 said) before the payment reaches your account.

You've chosen the slowest method to get your money. It's only ever the day after of you go with PayPal, and that's assuming the payout occurs on a weekday.

With direct payment into your account you can expect it to take 2-3 days normally and up to 5 days if there are weekends. As long as you've had the email saying your payout has been sent you know the funds are on their way.

Check to see if you received the email from Airbnb as another poster mentioned. If not call them.

For me if the guest checks in on Friday and leaves on Sunday I see the money in my US bank account on Tuesday morning.
