Payment not received

Hi Ive just had my first guest ! Im excited but havent received payment and its been almost a week,

After receiving the message in my inbox that my guest has indeed paid and registering my details in preferred payout method . I haven’t received payment yet

I was approved by payoneer and I've got my master card credit card details as the payout method

Hi Alice and Jeff,

 

Thank you for your response . I am aware that message on the airbnb payment page says I have been paid however this hasnt entered my bank account and it has been almost 2 weeks since guest paid and 7 days since you responded so I'm  not sure why I havent received payment yet.

 

Is there someone or somewhere I could check with ...I havent heard from airbnb that payments have bounced back or anything so I'm not sure what the reason for delay is ...neither am I sure what I can do about it

I believe new hosts have to wait 30days from 1st guest arrival before payment is released, it then reverts to normal payment of 24hrs after guest checkin. Something to do with protecting the guest when booking with a new host.
