I obtained a Host Capital Loan through AirBnB in 2019.
This loan was paid off in early 2021.
A statement from the Lender/Host Capital was presented to AirBnB together with a request that deductions/payments made to Host Capital stop immediately.
Instead AirBnB continued to send monthly payments to Host Capital despite the loan having been closed. (As of today, no one knows where this money is?)
Host Capital (and K-Servicing who receives on behalf of Host) verified that the loan had been closed and a refund was in process...in March, 2021.)
Despite providing AirBnB documentation of the closed loan, messaging, phone calls and their opening of a Case, every attempt to resolve this problem has ended exactly the same way...no one with authority to access the relevant information, resolve the dispute and refund the money has contacted me
Following is the "standard" closing message received from more than a dozen+ bottom level Customer Service Reps below writing:
"Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this issue. I'm forwarding your inquiry to a member of our team who can better assist you. They'll be getting in touch with you soon."
Despite the hopeful and seemingly professional response/messages noted above, no one with authority to access the relevant information, resolve the dispute and/or refund the money (thousands of dollars) has contacted me as of today, July 1, 2021.
The frontline reps not only state that there is no phone number for this; they can't even provide the name of the department to whom they have forwarded the details.
Nightmare...help?
