You used to be able to see a message in grey in the message history under the guest booking that a payment request has been sent and then you would see if the payment request had been accepted or rejected. I also seem to remember that in the Payout information on the guest profile the "extra services" or payment request would be shown as an additional line item.
We are no longer able to see any of the above and we can no longer see 1) If the payment request has been accepted and 2) If the payment has been made by AirBnB to ourselves. We have placed a ticket to request information on individual bookings and AirBnB have contacted the guest to show them where to accept the request and have then confirmed for us if the request has been accepted as we are unable to see this information. I would suggest you do the same until this gets sorted.
I need to add a "Payment Request" for upcoming reservations to invoice the 5% local/county tax that Airbnb doesn't collect & remit; however, I can't proceed with the request because "the reservation is not fully paid".
When will the reservation be fully paid? I thought reservations were paid in full at time of booking.
When will I be able to request the additional payment?
