Payment with debit card

i´m from Mexico and when i try to book  with a debit card appears an error message who said: 

• We were unable to authorize the payment to your credit card. Please confirm that all the details are correct. You may also contact your bank to confirm that they are not blocking the payment or use an alternate payment method

Do you know if the payment with a debit card is allowed in Mexico?

any succesful txn using debit card...cause try few time but not succeed...

@AnaLuisa7  I don't think you can pay with a debit card, only a credit card.
