Is it possible for a visitor to pay in instalments?

when do the visitors pay for their accommodation and do airbnb advise you that they have paid?

Hi, I have noticed that some places show me this option:

"Pay less upfront
When you use a credit card or PayPal to book an eligible reservation, you’ll have the option to pay part of the total now, and the remaining amount closer to the check-in date.

You won’t be charged additional fees for choosing this option."

So obviously there is an option to pay in 2 installments, 1 part now and other part before check-in.
So I wonder where I, as a Host, can "turn-on" this option?

@Natasa5  Thank you for your posting.  Air BNB's process of rolling out changes  and in this case a substantial change makes sense, but for those of us who are not in the area where the change occurs we are sometimes caught off guard.  Love it that hosts like yourself keep us updated.

I've been searching around, looks like this option turns on automaticaly if you have flexible and moderate cancellation policies.

If you have strict and stricter options, your potential guests won't have this paying option.

@Paul506  As usual, @Alice-and-Jeff0 have provided a very complete response to your question.  That several links were provided to you suggests that you can avail yourself of the information about how to be a host on this platform in the Help Center.  Trust me, it will save you much hassle and even money.  Good luck!
